Summer is finally here! No more excuses, it`s time to hit the trails at Bike Parks BC. With this year's late season snow some of the bike parks had to resort to shoveling snow off the trails, but it`s all good now and the trails are in excellent condition and just waiting for you. This summer why not visit a park that you haven’t been to before. Bike Parks BC resorts have great summer specials on accommodation and lift tickets.

Ultimate Road Trip Winners Announced
The judges have made their decisions and this year’s winners of the Bike Parks BC 2008 Ultimate Road Trip have been selected.
For the fabulous Eastern trip including Panorama, Kicking Horse, and Silver Star the lucky winners are:

RESORT UPDATES
Title
Whistler Mountain Bike Park
The season is now in full swing with Extended Play open daily.
The high mountain Garbanzo chairlift will open for the season on Friday, July 27th. Check out the Park Report for an up-to-date list of open trails. Also check out our riding programs: Women`s Nights, Richie Schley Freeride Camp, and Summer Gravity Camps. The Kokanee Crankworx freeride festival starts August 10th.
Panorama Mountain Village
Bike park open June 27th – August 31st
Panorama’s trail crew has been hard at work preparing trails for the bike park opening. According to Darcy Lehr, the new Bike Park Manager, improvements this year are all about the fun factor. “We plan to start by rebuilding and renovating existing trails throughout the park. Think new berms, jumps, and features. There’s lots of ground to cover in a short time, but my trail crew is up for the challenge". Silver Star
Silver Star Bike Park via the Comet Express Six-Pack is open seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. NEW this year - EXTENDED PLAY every WEDNESDAY - Ride the Comet until 7:30 p.m.
Mount Washington Alpine Resort
The bike park is now open with 2 lifts and extended summer hours to get you where you want to ride. June 28 to Sept. 1 lifts operate 11am - 7:30pm. Sept. 2 to Sept. 21 lifts operate 12pm noon to 6:30pm. The Bearclaw Invitational Slopestyle III is on August 22 and 23 - hands down, the sickest, most ridiculous event you can witness this year! Two days of eye-poppin action as the world's top-dog freeriders do what they do best at Mount Washington.
Kicking Horse Mountain Resort
The bike park is open daily June 27 - Aug 31 from 11am - 5:30pm. Late summer the lifts will operate Friday to Sunday Sept 5 - Oct 12 from 11am - 5:30pm.
Sun Peaks Resort
Open daily from 10:00am to 5:00pm June 28 to September 1 with extended play hours every Saturday till 7:00pm until August 30! Open Friday to Sunday from September 2 to September 28.
